Library News
July 2007
Director's Corner
Linda Spring
At the end of July we'll say goodbye to one of our librarians, Melanie Ford, who is  taking a new job at the large Cherry Hill Public Library. Melanie has been our webmaster, IVPL's Internet teacher, and one of the helpful librarians at the Reference Desk.  We'll miss you, Melanie, and we wish you lots of good luck in your new home.
One of Melanie's projects was creating a new blog ("web log") for readers to share book news with one another.  On our website, look for the paragraph about the blog; click where it says "click here"; and add a short review.  You can "publish" under just your first name.
And, readers -- check out the blog for local opinions of new and old books.    It's a lot of fun.   --Linda Beck, Director

Once again, the summer reading club for adults will be underway -- and, still, no meetings, no obligations.  Read whatever you want at your own rate, and sign a short review form (near the tree with squirrels on the PA Room glass wall).  Once a week, we'll have a drawing for a prize: a tote bag full of books. No need to register first. Choose from fiction, nonfiction, mysteries, whatever suits you.
