Business-focused searches and directory developed by industry experts and librarians. You can either browse for business information by category, or perform a search. For many businesses, the site includes free information on financials, news, and a profile.

Hoover's Online

Includes free access to Hoover’s database of company and industry information.  Some services are only available through subscription.  However, you can search or browse for companies by name or industry, and view fact sheets, news and some financial information.  Hoover’s also lists the company’s website.  Many companies list job openings on their website.

America's Job Bank

Funded through Unemployment Insurance taxes, this service links the 1,800 state Employment Service offices. Most of the jobs are full-time and the majority are in the private sector.

Monster
http://www.monster.com

Popular employment search site that allows you to search for jobs by location (city, state, zip code).  You can also store resumes online and make them accessible to employers.

Careerbuilder
http://www.careerbuilder.com

Similar to Monster.com in that it allows you to search for jobs by location and store resumes online.  It is worthwhile to search both, because they often include different job listings.  CareerBuilder includes listings that would be available in the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Craig's List
