Adult Summer Reading: I'm Nuts About Reading!

Once again, the summer reading club for adults is now underway -- and, still -- no meetings, no obligations.

Read whatever you want at your own rate, and fill out a short review form (near the tree with squirrels on the PA Room glass wall).

Once a week, we'll have a drawing for a prize: a tote bag full of books. No need to register.

IVPL Wins another Best Practices Award for Family Programming.

The program, Grandparents and Valentines, was recognized in Harrisburg by the Pennsylvania Library Association.

Book Club in a Bag   You can now check out a tote bag full of copies of the same book to use for your book discussion group. One person from your group can check out a bag that contains at least ten copies of a title and a book discussion guide with discussion questions, author biographies, and reviews. Each bag can be checked out for two months. To view a list of available titles, click on "Search our catalog" select Title Keyword or Series Browse and type "Book Club in a Bag".

Playaway - Audio to Go!   The library is now circulating Playaway audiobooks. Half the size of a deck of cards, Playaways are an easy way to listen to a book on the go. Each Playaway comes with audio content already pre-loaded. Simply plug in your earbuds or headphones, push Play and enjoy. The fee for borrowing a Playaway is $1 for a three-week loan. To view a list of available Playaways click on "Search our catalog" select Subject Browse and type "Playaway".
